#02 "If you could listen to only one Album for the rest of your life what would it be?"
In the first edition of Question Time I was asked about my EP, Acoustic Emotions. I introduced the journey of the EP briefly and announced that I would be talking more about each of individual track at a later time, and the time is now! First up is "Can't I Just?" "Can't I Just?" gets into the character of a person who feels like they've been placed in a box. Not physically, but by being emotionally tied down by another person's perception of what and how they should be. The character is pleading for the permission to live, breathe, and think on their own.
#01 "You recently released your EP Acoustic Emotions. Could you tell us about it?" I created this eP with the intention that listeners would be able to travel with me and reflect on different emotions. It's a very intimate and uncovered compilation, built mainly on the lyrical content. The 4 Track EP journeys through the struggle to depart, to the loss of a life, to the needing to let go, to the freedom of finding that peaceful home. I'll be telling you more about each individual track soon so keep an eye out in my future blog posts!
