That Peaceful Place..

Read Now

In the first edition of Question Time I was asked about my EP, Acoustic Emotions. I introduced the journey of the EP briefly  and announced that I would be talking more about each of individual track at a later time, and the time is now!
Last but not least "Home"
Home is about finding that special place where you are comfortable being you, the place where you belong and feel secure. Though the word "home" is thought of as a building or structure, I believe I've found my true home in some of the friendships I hold and the people I've met. What do you class as your home?

Last night my band and I performed at 02 Academy's "Ones To Watch" event and to some it up in the shortest phrase possible it was definitely a great experience. We had an awesome time on stage and loved the audience!

Question Time #03

#03 "How have your experiences been performing live on so many occasions? Any shows that stand out from the rest?"

Picture
Each performing experience I've had has been very different. from performing to crowds as little as 10, to audiences of 200+ you can already visualise some of the differences I've faced. The main show that will always stand out for me would be my first ever performance. I'll always remember how nervous I was before I went on stage and how every part of my body was shaking. I'll also always remember how loud and grand the applauses were after, and how I
stepped down from that same stage knowing that “this is what I want to do”.

Though it was ages ago, my first performance will never be forgotten and is yet to be replaced with an even more memorable moment!

The Loss Of A Life

Second up is "Where Did You Go?"
As a youngster I often heard the saying "life isn't a promise you know" but to me, it was only a phrase that adults would say to  children if they misbehaved or were crossing the roads carelessly. I didn't know that the true meaning behind it was  a  warning to us that though life could be perfect one day, it could be gone the next. And though you may be young and have a bright future ahead of you, it could be taken away at the blink of an eye. This song is a question asking where did the person who I thought would be there forever go. "Where Did You Go?"

Soo.. I've taken a new and fabulous leap into the world of piano/vocal performances, or as I call it "piano voice". I used to play the piano when I was younger and now it's about time I picked it up again to start accompanying myself!
...They Say The First Time Is Always The Hardest..
I had my first Piano Voice performance at an event called Sunday Live Lounge last Sunday. It was held at the Power Lunches venue in Dalston and was an AWESOME night. Check out this short little clip!
