Many of you know me for my acoustic material and others for my live band performances. In the next few months I will be showing the softer side to my music and releasing material from my Piano Series compilation. This compilation will also include the single "Dare to Dream" which was jointly composed by myself and a great pianist and musician, Nathanael Watson. Stay Tuned!! #05 - "What was your most embarrassing moment on stage?"so I'm not quite sure what persuaded me to try and introduce the second song. Anyway, I opened my mouth and said “The next song is…” and could feel my facial expression change into a completely puzzled look before saying a very long "eeeerrrrrrmmmmmmm...." - VERY embarrassing not knowing the name of your own song!
I posted this message on Twitter and Facebook last week and was extremely surprised by the amazing result:
"Where Did You Go?" has climbed up to a leading total of 1624 plays. "Can't I just?" is climbing too at 1238 plays. On the other hand, "Travellin" has been quite far behind and started with 720 plays last but has only reached a total of 775 plays this week. Get playing guys and share away! If you want to know more information on how you can get involved email [email protected] with the subject "Get Involved".
I have to say the event was the cosiest night I've been to so far. Each performer received two complimentary drinks from the bar as well as a beautiful audience to play to. Gabriel, the host, is also very talented himself!
For all you acoustic ladies and fellas, if you're looking for a friendly place to share your music I would suggest you get in touch with Gabriel and book yourself in! It's a great thing to be able to work with other artists or musicians to create something really special, and that's exactly what I've been doing the past few months. I recently recorded a collaboration between myself and a highly skilled rapper from New York! I'd tell you the name but its a surprise! I'm so proud of this song that we recorded and I can't wait for you all to hear it when its released! Do you recognise his voice? Keep a look out for more collaborations 2014 :-D
#04 "When did you fall in love with music, was it a particular song or moment?" There’s no way I could deny it, I have always been in love with music! From as long as I can remember music has been a great part of my life, whether it be simply listening to music, or learning. Music has helped me in so many aspects of my life and in my personal development there’s no way I couldn’t fall in love!
